Practicing Empathy and Compassion in the Workplace
The more that you intentionally speak and compassionate and kind and constructive terms, it really rewires your brain. And so if you are intentional and you practice speaking in an optimistic and positive and kind way, what happens is that your brain shifts to optimize to operate in that way more. Another interesting change that you can notice as you're developing your inner life is being in situations where you would normally feel anger or frustration and noticing instead that you're feeling empathy and compassion.
