"I often felt that I thought too much, and I could see the continual self-consciousness that accompanied me through much of this early exploration," he says. "The more time you dedicate to thinking about an idea instead of actually trying and testing it, it's too easy for you to talk yourself out of it." He adds: "Although I yearned for tea to be right for me, to be my true calling, I knew this was beyond my control, but I kept on pushing".
