Are You and Your Protective Defence System?

We get defensive because of the threat inside of our body. The danger is us feeling a feeling. Nobody's died of having a feeling. It's what we do with it now that will kill us, or kill anybody. We're just saying, are you in a connective place? Are you in your way? Not your protective defence system? And so obviously this isn't the answer to all conflict but to slow yourself down and go, ok, i am not being my best self right now.
