Meaning doesn't exist. It doesn’t exist. Well, the only person Plato seems to have in mind is already dead. So he's creating this system for Socrates. And yet, we don't have another Socrates. Which is why, of course, you can't say that it's, he's just kidding or it's just a joke because what Plato is describing is obviously true.
