Even lights with the eyelids closed can stimulate these retinal ganglion cells and shut down melatonin production. When it comes to the bedroom, you really want to eliminate any kind of lights in that bedroom so that it's as dark as possible. Night shift workers should stay a night shift worker throughout the entire week. You cannot confuse your circadian rhythm.
