The Importance of Being Like My Dad
"I think more recently in the last 20 or 30 years, Eastern European Jews have full of this idea that they're supposed to be intellectually, economically, and educationally superlative," he says. "My dad, when he wrestled me when I was a little kid, would always give me a real big struggle, but mostly let me win." But is that was my dad sort of like somehow shaping me as I grew up? So I would say it's by no means clear that's the case...but if I had to take a guess at it, I would say probably not".
