The Connection Between Gut Health and Saturated Fats

Jason: I always had an inkling that our eating certain foods would kind of create like a dip in mood or just negatively impact how it felt, but it's fascinating to hear all the science that's backing it up. James: Are there any types of diets in particular foods you would recommend to avoid so they don't experience these negative effects? Jason: Saturated fats increase the absorption of endotoxins. They will bind to them and create a bit of a raft that facilitates the transmission through the gut into your circulation. So I'm very cautious around the use of saturated fat sources.
