Radio and the Modern Advertising Agency
The modern advertising agency was born under commission base model ad agencies flourished until radio. Hundreds of amateur hobbyists rushed home from their day jobs to create one or two hour broad as for neighbors with radio sets. Churches broadcasts sermons, hymns and bible readings. Educators plotted ways to use radio to spread learning to american households. But what they all lacked was a sustainable economic model.
