People get therapy shame because we expect ourselves to become immortal at some point or to not struggle. Life is constantly shifting right so like right now we're in a literal pandemic worldwide crisis. All of us are having a pivot and a shift, maybe things that have been pretty stable or unchecked in your life are resurfacing in new ways. Maybe you're having a resurgence of old triggers or emotions or you know maladaptive or unhelpful coping skills. Things happen in life like a pandemic. Death, grief, moving, job loss, like transition naturally triggers the need to reassess. We're just trying to show up and be our best self. So healing is ongoing.
