Intermittent fasting is helping people eat less and that caloric restriction separate from the idea that their metabolic health is being improved generally they're going to have better metabolic health fasting insulin etc if they're regularly practicing intermittent fasting. I think it can be a variety of different things, for some people it's just the reduction in inflammation and we know inflammation can drive weight loss resistance. There are many things that come into play though because it is a very delicate band. It really comes down to who you are as an individual, looking conscientious way at your circumstances.
