Brad Clark at Private Press has been experimenting with decanting barley wines. It's counterintuitive because you're going to sacrifice the carbonation which really isn't like the star of the show in the first place, he says. "You can get to this awesome sort of like pruney like just open it up in the way that like adding a tiny a splash of water to cast strength bourbon will kind of be able to pull apart the seams and I'm all for it"
