The Importance of Accepting Pain and Anxiety
When we demonstrate irrelevance to either pain or anxiety, we get the same effect, which is that the brain releases its hypervigilance about those two topics. And our relationship with it determines if things exist, it's like pain or even anxiety. Because pain and anxiety are almost identical warning systems. Anxiety is your in danger and pain is your injured and you need to fix yourself.
