The Power of Self-Compassion
I feel like the times that I'm like the most unhappy, I'm the most hard on myself, so I achieve the most. So it's a very overachiever, like, oh, yeah, I kind of like when I'm miserable because I like... I can get some stuff done. There's lots of evidence that a voice that's a little bit more self-compassionate can really increase our performance and make us feel better. But there's a real question of is that ultimately the success we want? Is that going to give us meaning and purpose? Are we going to flourish that way?
