The Recovery Longevity of Threshold Intervals
The recovery length can be important. It takes time for your arobic system to fully ramp up. I always tell my athletes, if you're doing like an eight minute interval, that first interval is almost a throwaway. You want to hit it again while the arobicsystem is still reved up.
