The Proprioceptors in the Voice Box
When you make the vocal folds as thick as they can go, they lose their capacity to vibrate in an organized way and they create a white noise that's called fry. It might be valuable for your special interest to inquire about the proprioceptors in the voice box. Most singers learn by engaging their imagination and experiencing sensations that are not strictly physical. If you can feel physically what's happening in your larynx, you're probably doing something to harm it. Anytime I can feel like when I do like the vocal fry thing, it hurts. Like because your voice isn't meant to do that all the time. It's a thing that's reserved for like special occasions,
