How do you work with people who are saying they want community, but aren't putting the effort in to get it? The biggest thing is to start by asking questions around their fears. Say, w ok, there's clearly something that's preventing you from doing this. If you were a hundred % in you wouldn't need anyone to help you. You would just be doing it. And i think even in the world of personal development, where we reflect so much on all these elements of ourselves constantly, rarely think about our relationship to group and out group.
