When i was studying to enter into the industry, they kept saying, don't design a game for yourself. Design a game for for an audience. How how do you balance? You want to be working on something that you're really passionate about but also designing with an audience in mind. I think it's just being able to be objective and can't take a step back and set aside your own biases.
