How to Treat Reactive Tendonopathy
There's a lot of people out there with either asymptomatic or grumbly degenerative tendonopathies that you don't often see. Often you need to treat the reactive tendonopathy and then look at the underlying degenerative change and address that. These guys will have big hypochoag areas. So instead of having nice collagen fascicles, there'll be blackness within the ultrasound. And if you put the Doppler on or the power Dopplers on, you'll see vascularity within it. Both those things indicate that the matrix is very disorganized and suggest that you need to be doing strategies to help try and get some sort of process happening in that tendon
