The Case for Focusing on AI Risk
There are lots of scary problems in the world, why zoom in on reducing exit or risk from AI? Yeah. So I think it's a great question of like why to focus on AI risk people like one should have to make a case. It is possible that really, really, really clever use of chat GPT from like like 300 million people who've all gotten used to it could be a big enough deal. But I don't think that's going to happen. People take a long time to get used to a tech. For example, Holden Karnowski writes about he calls it pasta for some reason. And yeah, imagine an AI system that is as skilled as the most skilled researchers
