How Much Privilege Does It Afford?

I've been thinking a lot about privilege as it relates to this. How many of us could ever start where Ramdas is right now feeling every constant pain in his body as grace? You don't get to start there. I wonder how much the privilege affords like training wheels on some level too of being able to let go, being sad at lunch with your baby before the cancer is in your mouth.
