Is It a Good Idea to Averaging Your Models Together?

i generally think it's a good idea to try to rely on multiple models when possible. If you have multiple models tha prediction about a thing, why not look at what each of them predicts? And then you can start thinking about averaging ther predictions, or at least asking if i have some reason that one model will be more accurate than another. Rather than just remlying on kind of one model, which tends to produce very bad predictions.
