The Effects of Voluntary Activation on Fatigue
There was a recent study done on squats versus deadlifts and looking at fatigue factors. I think the problem is it's really difficult to compare a squat on a deadlifts because you're testing essentially the quadriceps. If they tested the spinal erectors, I would find a much higher degree of fatigue present with the spinal erector comparatively to the squats.
