For the longest time, facebook strategy has essentially been copy catting other platforms. What i think is going to become difficult for them is what we learn with ster gram's storys such as you can't just copy a product and hope that it works. You have to think about what di my users actually want. And they are not beholden to the rules of an apple or a google in order to insure the longevity of their business model on instagram. The real product it's is absolutely a copy cot of tik ta.
