When I'm creating content using the Zetl-Pastan system, sometimes I go in with the idea I want to memorize this. There's definitely a case because I cannot remember everything I am reading, but I just kind of want to get a general sense of some things. And sometimes I wish I could remember more points. It will be wonderful if I had a perfect memory,. But there's good evidence that people who have really, really good memories do have trouble seeing the forest because they are focusing on the trees.
