The Hardest Part of Crewing
I think one of the hardest parts of crewing, depending on the runner, is that you are up all night. You can probably get like six hours of sleep before you go do the final aid station and Cunningham going counterclockwise. Something people don't realize is that everyone's like cheering on the winner is like, yeah, good job. Those crews are driving unwinding mounted roads at 2 AM. And you can't, you don't have time to stop because they're going to be at the finish in a few hours.
