The Snow Geese
One of the expressions of despair that comes my way sometimes when i'm talking with students or meeting with people, is a sense of racing through our lives. Anjohn o'donnahu puts it this way: We rush through our days in such stress and intensity as if we were here to stay. So we have this project of self that's on his or her way somewhere. And it's not so common, it's kind of rare that we have that sense that this is it. I'm not living for something coming up. This is what matters.
