The Genetic Background of Blue Alleurone

A QTL is a genomic region that, uh, affects a particular quantitative trait. If we can find traits or regions in the genome that all code for the same things, then we understand that I guess there might be some sort of relationship between those things. For example, if blue alleurone and amylase production are encoded in the same area, maybe they're related. Right? So you're using genomes to try to figure this out.
