Compassion Focused Therapy

Compassion-focused therapy is really about identifying the source of your distress and then putting in action things that you know are going to improve your mental health. It can be a good place to start particularly when someone has trauma work to do because it's a nice place to sort of upskill in some of those regulation skills and increase that sense of self-compassion self-awareness.
