The Importance of a Robust Investment Model
When I was about to submit my offer, L.O.I., heads of terms, whatever you'd like to call it for this particular business that I just recently acquired, I ran a buy all the usual lenders. And maybe 10 or 15 initial conversations and maybe two of them said no immediately. That was mainly due to the small size of the loan. But still, given it's a relatively small loan, they assess that being not worth the effort. So regardless of the relatively low credit risk, the fee generated from that size of loan was a little bit less interesting.
