practising loving kindness can seem a little funny to people who have not tried it. The practice goes as follows, you brainstorm a list of some one that naturally evokes feelings of warmth and loving kindness. You say the statements of loving kindness, am, for each person, right? So if i think of a benefactor, i might think of my grandfather, who's deceased, but whos still touches me and is such a part of my life. And then all beings,. so you go through this list of yourself, a familiar friend that you care about, a familiar stranger, a a somewhat difficult person, and then all beings.
