The Drawbacks of Limitations in EMG

Aclan: Most data has pretty severe limitations. It's not so that internet keyboard warriors can throw those points at each other and say your data is invalid because of these limitations. The best one I always come back to when we look at MVIC for the lats and the packs in particular joint angle ranges of motion, it's it lines up perfectly. If EMG is done correctly, it does give us great insight as to pretty much what muscle is going to be doing to most work at that particular joint angle range of motion.
