I remember listening to Andrew Huberman, the Stanford Associate Professor who sort of alluded to approach focus being energy forward. I think obviously very pertinent, but I've always seen it as that fear of failure is an appraisal and approach focus is a behaviour towards,. It's an action towards. So the appraisal drives the action towards rather than the action or behaviour away from. And we can't really look at sports on that just at individual level. We sometimes get so tied up in our theories and in our work that we kind of, especially, you know, we didn't know a lot to start off with. You need to like look at the different parts of the theory to really start to build
