Is Poetry a Tattoo?
I think of poetry as the thing that makes sense of it all for me. I write poems because I want them to feel like tattoos and then I keep writing them because they are not. Poetry feels more like that uncertain light to me. I am trying to turn into a tattoo and then I have to write another one. There is so much of like light that is uncertain, you cannot keep it still.
