How to Deal With Stress and Stress in Adults
When we're under threat or stress, adults and khids interpret things more as a danger. A heart rate starts to speed up or become irregular. An breath in particular, gets disregulated. But the good news is that we have evolved as human beings. We don't just have fight or flight freeze and forget it. Research shows people are able to call to the tend and befriend - which overlaps with mindfulness and compassion.
