There is some science behind tailoring your physical activity based on where you are in your cycle. It's something that I know that a lot of athletes are now looking at to try and optimize their performance in training or obviously on the day of a big race. There hasn't been any science that I can find on cycle thinking but it's really interesting to look at so we don't have any solid facts about nutrition from an exercise perspective.
