You don't have to be shirtless, for example, to benefit from these near-infrared rays. Instead of looking at an e-reader, if you want to read at night, maybe just turning on a low dim incandescent bulb and reading a regular paper book. Near infrared radiation is not found anymore in LED bulbs, at least the ones that you buy in the store. Almost all of the glass now has to be low e-glass, which means that it does not transmit near infrared radiation.
