Neff's Bubble Houses
The modernists were not impressed with Neff's bubble houses. Steve Rodin, the guy who lives in the Pasadena bubble house, told me almost the same thing. Young architects who were trying to bring modernism forward, they thought he was like a dilettante or something. And I think he was an outsider probably because he was hobnobbing with movie stars.
