I was a tour guide for six weeks in israel. I didn't lift weights one time over this entire trip. When i got back to the jim after several months away from not lifting weights, i just didn't lift for several months. But it didn't take long to get back to right where i left off. And then a when i was 21, and i dead lifted four times my bodyweight at 25. This is why it's so important to understand that you are probably radically overestimating what you can do in a year and dramatically underestimating what you could do in seven. Life throws curve balls. You have to take that into account.
