Doss Capital is a book written way back in 1867 by Karl Marx. It suggests that emiseration is what help tends to produce revolutions. People get so fed up with being abused and chiseled away at that they revolt. More than a century of scholarly analysis has actually shown that living standards for workers often raise in time in various capitalist countries, but those workers still engage in revolts.
