Is It OK to Say, It's Unusual and It's Ok Not to Like It?
The unpleasantness of the pain can mask the slight up and down that happens even with chronic pain. What the mental model building in the mind does is capture the most intense it captures the peaks. And because it tends to have captured the peak, the actuality of now might be just slightly less. Of course, it may peak again, but it's a question of allowing yourself to see it as it is rather than the mind ligamental model based on the peak. Is it possible to learn to control my feeling?
