The Benefits of Running for Runners

The first month's tissue conditioning is not so much fitness training. A starting point might be as low as one minute jogging, three or four minutes of walking for half an hour. Then you add minutes over the successive weeks. Going back with a continuous run has greater risk. The key to treating these is you can't massage them better. You can sure make the shoulder feel better with some hands on therapies but it's a progressive strength and conditioning effort.
