Game Studies - Is Borders Going Out of Business?

In the U.S., there was a very large bookstore chain called Borders Books. When Borders started to experience some economic issues, the books that were always in the front of the store were suddenly replaced with greeting cards and pillows or children's toys. And for me, that was a real strong indicator that Borders was in crisis. That Borders was having a hard time kind of selling itself to consumers anymore. I mentioned that because what gets me so excited about game studies is this shake up space where it's not necessarily traditional monographs and traditional edited collections. There are now a half dozen or so really consistent, very good podcasts on game studies that didn't exist five, six, seven years
