The Benefits of Hamstring Strength Exercises

The Nordic hamstrings exercise for a few weeks, particularly if you're a little bit shorter, like I am, will often be able to tolerate external load quite quickly with this sort of exercise. And we use those pretty consistently now, still in practice, because we know they're beneficial from the findings of the study. The most important part is the progressive running. That's what we've got to get the athlete back to, for the most part, typically we're dealing with athletes who are from a running based sport.
