How to Make a Decision Based on Coin Flips

We know that there are biases in the way that people tend to come up with these things. People also tend to focus on things that kind of happened early or late in a string of events. It's very difficult and say, well, I'm going to learn from this one decision. We're so bad at learning from experience that we're doomed to repeat the same mistakes we regret anyway. Or are we?
