ARNIs in Heart Failure?
The ARNI class is a combination of secubicile and valsartin. This medication simultaneously promotes the nephrolicin pathway in addition to inhibiting the RAS pathway. During the paradigm A.F. trial, patients with heffrath who were started onsecubicile valsartins experienced a significant reduction in cardiovascular death and heart failure hospitalization. And it also led to asignificant reduction in all cause mortality,. So that's why it made it immediately into our 2017 CCS heart failure guidelines even before it was available to use in Canada.
