The Economic Consequences of Ending the Moratorium on Student Loan Payments
The president agreed to end the moratorium on student loan payments. That doesn't affect the budget, but we were assuming that was going to happen anyway. The income driven repayment plan may also smooth out some of these effects as well. But I don't see this as triggering a wave of defaults or anything of that magnitude.
