Is Patience the Antidote to Anger?
Pema Shodron says patience is the antidote to anger, a way to learn to love and care for whatever we meet on the path. She clarifies that she does not mean endurance or grin and bear it. The journey of patience involves relaxing, opening to what's happening, experiencing a sense of wonder. And ultimately, this allows us to be more skillful with how we deal with it.
