When we have two things like, okay, this set of actions I took before didn't give me the outcome I wanted, we can adjust something in those set of actions and try to get closer to the outcome. So it's that constant adjustment through failure that is the actual stuff of learning. Remembering what your coach told you in rehearsal isn't learning. It's something else.
