How to Interview Non-Traditional People

I'll take people shopping. Come to the dry cleaner. I took a guy once to my kid's soccer practice and said, why don't you come run a practice with me? Go watch how they treat the person at the laundromat. It might be easier for someone listening to this to go, oh yeah, non-traditional interviews, that's a really great suggestion, that's just not how it works around here. Or maybe you're an author, you say that during a speech or you write it in your books. No, you really do this. But I think it's easy for a listener.
