Having a pet can make you feel less alone, says M. Getting out of bed and doing some self-care is also good for your mental health. During the pandemic we saw all time hides of people feeling depressed - but i think there was a bit of a blessing in disguise. It made friends who had never struggled with anything find an appreciation for those who do struggle every day.
